說真的，第一次在廣播聽到 “cool kids”，把歌名聽成 Cookies...

“I wish I could be like a cookie” (心想: What ??....，喔～原來是Cool Kids 啊...)

話說回來，這首Cool Kids 在美國Billboard 排名還算是不錯。（可能美國霸凌很常見..）

來自美國加州的Echosmith是由四個90後期的小朋友組成的

主唱 Sydney Grace Ann Sierota 17歲
Bass  Noah Jeffery David JosephSierota 19歲
吉他Jamie Jeffery David Harry Sierota 22歲

好像是一家人..對！
從小就一起學習樂器，受到許多搖滾樂團的影響，像是Coldplay，The smith，U2 等等..兄弟姊妹互相的鼓勵，促成了Echosmith的成形。

2012年五月與華納公司簽約

2012年，Echosmith Cover了許多知名歌手的歌曲，像是
Ellie Goulding 的 Light 

Adele 的 Set fire to the rain

Princess of China..

2013 的四月，Echosmith 被入選為”100 bands you need to know”

2013 的五月，發行首張單曲 “Come Together”

2013的10月八號發行首張專輯 “Talking Dream”，主打單曲為”Come together”，”cool kids”以及最近廣播火熱的”Bright”

另外”Surround you”被收錄在電影“EndlessLove”的原聲帶中。

最著名的應該是他們的Cool Kids, 在美國賣了120萬張，獲得RIAA，ARIA的白金認證。

其實也不是之前說的霸凌，而是說一對想成為眾人焦點的男女。在訪談中，吉他手講述了這首歌的背景：

This cry to be like the cool kids… it's something that everyone kind of goes through whether you want to act like it or not... There's always somebody out there that you kind of wish, 'If only I could do this, or do that.' I think that's why it connects with people so well.

其實聽久了，各位可能會覺得這主唱聲音跟Paramore的Hayley相似，尤其是在聽”Cometo me “的時候，真的是會以為我開到Paramore的專輯。 風格我也覺得很偏早期的paramore，但Echosmith 的編曲還蠻成熟的。這就是情緒搖滾摟，非常之年輕～希望大家會喜歡他們的作品。

......我還真的以為Sydney跟Hayley是姐妹...
